Mazda will be taking no less than seven tuned models to the aftermarket exhibition in Tokyo next month.
The Tokyo Auto Salon is dedicated entirely to custom cars and will be hosted in the Japanese Capital between January 9th and 11th 2015.
One of the stars of the show will be the racing MX-5 roadster which has actually been in the spotlight already last month. It features the company’s four-cylinder 2.0-liter SKYACTIV-G engine which we are hoping we will hear more about next month.
Another of Mazda’s new tuned models is a CX-3 SUV which has been nudged closer to the tarmac with lowering springs, it also features a modified front bumper and revised side skirts, together with black alloys and red brake callipers.
The Mazda2 or Demio as it is known in Japan also gets the CX-3’s bodykit so as to dub itself the Demio Racing Concept.
The Mazda3 or Axela to Japanese customers will be presented in both hatchback and saloon form and is customised with a new side sills, a re-designed front bumper and unique alloys. The hatchback also gets a special white paintjob whereas the saloon features red paint with grey stripes.
The Mazda6 or Atenza for the Japanese crowd teams up with the CX-5 to show off custom black paint with brushed details and sporty dark grey alloys.
